My first succulent arrangement advice?

My first succulent arrangement! Consists of Crassula ovata variegata, Kalanchoe thyrsiflora, and Haworthiopsis reinwardtii (Also a hidden aeonium cutting I'm experimenting with 🀫 The third picture is what it looks like from the front, so try and spot it!). I know it's not the most beautiful and jaw droppingly gorgeous arrangement out there, but it's enough to make me happy since I made it! I was thinking of adding some spiller element like String of Pearls, but I want to know what you guys think-- I've also never cared for SOP before and have heard of the horror stories. #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #succulentsquad #succulentlove #succulentarrangement #haworthia #jade #kalanchoe
I've heard horror stories about SOP too. Better to plant it on its own.

Nice arrangement , Annika. πŸ‘
It's a really pretty arrangement πŸ’™πŸ’œ

But definitely do not put string of pearls in there! They are hell when you first get them. It takes a lot of trial and error to make them work in your house, so it is probably definitely gonna die in there.
Even with grow lights they can be a son of a b*tch.

It took me a while to figure mine out, only a few cuttings are now thriving. They receive direct sun in a South facing window for as long as can in the Netherlands. They live in a tiny terracotta pot, because their roots are shallow. And they only get water when the pearls deflate a bit.
How cute
I love it ! πŸ₯° I wouldn’t recommend adding the string of pearls to the arrangement if it’s your first time caring for them, they can be really tricky, I’ve learned they do better if bottom watered, because they can rot easily if overhead watered, the same goes for SOH & SOT . Their tendrils are too delicate and get broken down if left wet. They also prefer bright indirect light and can burn easily if placed in to bright of sun, or if they aren’t acclimated.
Pretty arrangement πŸ‘
