A lil #Succulent update on the arrangement I put together a couple weeks ago-
3 out of 7 of these were declining rapidly (before this repot) because the (previous) soil mix wasn’t retaining enough water for the Echeveria β€˜Seraphina’s’,. They were struggling to stay hydrated, & the smallest one had lost a majority of its roots because the soil was super coarse & dry, which wasn’t ideal for it’s super fine hair like root system. I repotted with different soil ratios, & gave them some friends to harmonize with. πŸŒΏβœ¨πŸ€— I’m so happy to say that they both seem to be taking well & have rooted into the soil. When slightly pulling them they resist which lets me know the roots are growing & establishing well within the new soil mix. They are much more hydrated, & plump.
The same goes for the starburst pachyphytum which was struggling as well, but is thriving in its new home! ✨🫢🏻πŸͺ΄ #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #GrowingSuccs #NewGrowth #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #Echeveria #Pachyphytum #Pachyveria #arrangements

They look really cute like this and they’re happy! 😊
@SunnyPlants thank you! I think so too.. not much of a color contrast right now but once summer is here and they are exposed to more direct lighting, their stress colors will show (:
I love when they show their colors! 🀩 Looking forward to seeing them during summer. 😊
Great arrangement 😊
@SunnyPlants me too! πŸ€—β˜€οΈπŸͺ΄ I find that my lights don’t bring out the colors (they aren’t strong enough) they will bring some stress colors along the edges, but only if they are DIRECTLY under the light. Sunlight is really the best way to do it, but you have to be careful not to over stress the plant by exposing it to too much sunlight at once, or for too long during the hottest hours of the day.
I always love succulents, they’re not picky and you can kinda just neglect them, plus they look pretty.
