This is my “Friendship plant” that was gifted to me as just a cutting back in May. I’m so excited that it has rooted, grown, and giving me flowers!! And this is my very first post on here! #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #HappyPlants #moonvalleypilea

Getting plants from aunts has to be the most satisfying of any acquired plants. I still have a nice swath of 100 year + old lily of the valley my grandmother brought over from Poland in the early 1990's. I've cared for them and have even shared them with neighbors and friends. They smell better than the newer ones being sold. Also have an old fashioned Lilac bush I received from Westpoint Military Academy. The plants have been growing there for centuries. My summer sweet (chlethra) grows wild on Cape Cod. I was a gift and the scent is intoxicating.
Always cherish plants gifted you by friends families and entities. Sincerely happy for you. It's stunning 🤩
Congratulations. And welcome to #thebestappontheinternet

Great job with the care you're giving to allow this guy to thrive like it is. Going to Google Friendship Plant cuz this is the 1st time I've heard that name. Keep it up and keep us posted.😃
@plantstate it’s real name is moon valley pilea I believe. It’s so neat looking!! My Aunt sent me this cutting from her plant. It traveled 1000 miles wrapped in wet paper towels to get to me 😃 I love her so much!!
@plantstate I agree!! Alot of my plants have come from family and friends and I seem to tend them more than the others!
