@MsPlantNewbie I started with one snake plant π and now I have a bit of a collection so I just split and pot, split and pot ! They are great plants and giving them cool names just adds to the fun ! π€©
@Seymour @MsPlantNewbie Yes! Totally agree!
@HedwigRhoda Hey There, I borrowed this from Better Home and Gardens but you get the idea:
Division involves breaking the plant into sections and is the best way to propagate snake plants that have grown very big. Begin by removing the entire snake plant, roots and all, from its pot. Use aΒ sharp knifeΒ or pruners to cut the tightly tangled root ball apart. Aim to create divisions with at least three leaves and accompanying roots.
Plant each division in moist potting mix in aΒ container with drainage holes. Water the divisions well, allowing them to drain thoroughly. Place the newly potted plants in bright but indirect light. Water when soil is dry to the touch.

@HedwigRhoda luckily when I removed it from the white pot I noticed there was 2 growing in there and the one I placed into the brown pot had grown the longer leaf with now a baby lol Iβd just never noticedπ
