My Strawberry Twist Rex Begonia!!!🍓🤩I’m so excited. She’s a little damaged from the travel because the post office 🏤 didn’t deliver on Saturday as promised. I was worried knowing she had to sit in a dark box for two extra days☹️. She has a few browning/crunchy leaves but overall she still looks 😊. I can’t wait to see how she flourishes once I get her potted up and she recovers. @princesspitstop @LilRootedWitch @MariansOasis

@Shells_Garden omg I loveee it. That coloring is so eye catching. What a great find 👏 I don't think I appreciated begonias enough till recently. So many gorgeous ones to choose from!
@ImmenseJade50 Hi Bree, on this one, the leaves are soft but leathery almost. They aren’t soft and velvety like an African violet.
@ImmenseJade50 The nursery I ordered from on Etsy was in Oregon and I’m in CA so figured less chance of freezing/dying on the journey since it was shipping from the west coast . Bear Foot Farms it’s called and they have a variety of beautiful begonias. I have a few others in my cart but I haven’t purchased yet. I’m also getting too much plant mail and my husband is losing patience 🙈🤷♀️😊
@Shells_Garden those 3 are gorgeous. The 1st one, Watermelon I think I have already but she struggled the last part of 2024 so she’s in NICU 👶 🪴 right now. I’m so happy to see if she doesn’t make it that I have a source 🙌. Have you ordered from Bear Foot before or is this the first time?

@MariansOasis They really are. This is your fault, 🤣 you got me hooked on Begonias with your lovely photos so I searched them out!!😉😅! This was the first time I have purchased from Bear Foot. I wanted someone on the same coast because of the weather. I also ordered other plants. The white Swedish ivy in the last photo is sort of sad but the two Strepocarpus (Cape Primroses) in the second photo are pretty sweet. Ruby in the first pic looks much better today after fresh soil and a new pot! She still has some damage but overall she’s good.I did also order a few more Begonias from them today, including the watermelon 🍉 😰 🙈. I’m in so much trouble! I’ll definitely let you know what they look like when they arrive next week I hope! 🤞🏻
@ImmenseJade50 I thought I was the only one who actually hides them. I leave them out front or in the garage and funny thing is when I think it’s all clear and I try to sneak then in the house, I inevitably get caught! I’m rolling right now! 🤣😅😮
