What is happening to my snake plant soil????? It’s having a yellow looking powder! Also, good news is that MY SNAKE PLANT IS GROWING SO BIG! in the plant desc it shows a small snake plant pup BUT NOW ITS SO BIG!! My baby has grown so big! Wish you had a happy month!

Yellow powder is a type of mold from the soil staying wet for too long. Snake plants need to REALLY dry out between waterings. They also need a very well draining soil, the kind made for succulents/cacti is perfect. Always better to underwater than overwater! You can scrape off the top inch of soil with the mold and add a fresh layer of dry soil on top.
