My Thanksgiving cactus has always been my prized plant and has never had any issues before. Now it is looking wilty and losing pads every day. I repotted it thinking maybe it was root bound or overwatered so I wanted to get it out of its previous pot. This move hasnβt helped its condition and it is still looking sad and dropping pads. I normally water it once a week. Can someone tell me what I can do to save my plant?

@MeekPigeonplum Hi Sierra @all4thinking is correct your Thanksgiving Cactus needs to be in a pot with drainage holes. Also they like to dry out between waterings so don't water until the soil is completely dry. You can check it with a chopstick by sticking it down into the soil. If it comes out wet at all or with soil "crumbs" on it then wait to water. At this point your plant is probably in shock since you just repotted it. Put it in a window in bright indirect light and don't mess with it. They are super sensitive plants. For instance I bought mine a half a mile away from my house. It was FULL of blooms and beautiful! Seriously, not 3 days later all of the blooms and buds completely fell off. So you're going to have to give it some time to bounce back but if you do the things above it will get better. βΊοΈ
