Happy New Year's Eve everyone!

This time of year has always held a peculiar bittersweetness and melancholy for me. Ever since I started getting into plants, I've found that the melancholy is significantly less than usual. The days are short but they're getting progressively longer. Some of the plants have new growth, a small promise that spring is right around the corner. This year I'm undertaking a little personal project: I'm going to try to photograph all of my plants' growth throughout the year, documenting them on the equinoxes and solstices. I'm super excited to see how much they grow; for now, enjoy some of the pics I took yesterday.

Beautiful!๐Ÿ˜ Love them, and your idea!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผโค๏ธ
Great idea. This time of year is stinky in something many ways. Bring joy to yourself and know that it's also bringing July and inspiration to those around you.
@Charli3Plant Thanks for sharing cool pictures! And gorgeous succulents ๐Ÿ‘
@Charli3Plant gorgeous pics, and s great idea!!!
Thank you everyone! I'll toss some more in from today and I'll even include some of the uglier (read: the ones I accidentally froze a few weeks ago) just so y'all can see the full spectrum of what's going on.
Great idea! And gorgeous plants ๐Ÿชด
Great idea! Iโ€™m not quite that ambitious, but I thinks maybe I can start updating my plant profile pics in the Greg app. Iโ€™ve noticed some of mine have lots of growth and some improved coloring since their pics were taken.
Congrats Charlie; very nice colours โ˜€๏ธ
@Charli3Plant wow, even your "ugly" succulents are gorgeous! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜œ Are any of those an echeveria chroma or graptoveria opalina?
@stephonicle Here you go! The Chroma got a little frost bitten, so I included an older picture so you can see what it used to look like. The Opalina is the same plant; the pinker picture is an older one.
@Charli3Plant ๐Ÿ˜ *Sigh* Both are so beautiful! They're currently numbers 1 and 2 on my succulent wishlist ๐Ÿ˜›

Thank you for sharing!
@stephonicle Opalina's are usually pretty easy to find at big box stores. I got mine at Lowe's on clearance.
