Trimming the fat!!
After almost a year (very bad, I know) I’ve finally gotten around to trimming all the dead leaves off of my Guzmania.
It was flowering when I bought it and it did last quite a while, but inevitably it did die back and send up two babies. The mother plant is all but dead (suuper dry since its by a radiator and the pebble tray was not cutting it), but the babies are still looking green with a bit of a slow growth rate but I’m hopeful.
Hopefully with those dead leaves out the way the babies can be more of the focus!!
