Growing mango seeds with a twist! 🌱
MORE #ScienceWithGreg!! This time, #Mango edition. 😂
I have 2 mango seeds that I’ve been growing about a week. The first (round pot) was potted at the first sign of a root, and the second (square pot) was kept in its paper towel and plastic bag about 3-4 days longer. They are both being watered about 4 times a week, until the first sprout.
To make the experiment even more fun, I have 2 different soil mixtures. The round pot has more peat and sphagnum (ground) than perlite and is more moisture-keeping. The square pot has more perlite but has non-ground dried sphagnum added and is a little more well-draining.
I have also watered each with a small amount of #PothosWater to add some… ✨🫧spice 🫧✨. I’m finally into the #CitrusGrandPrix!!
More #PothosWater being created as well, since my cutting was today moved to a much larger bottle. Here’s to this fun experiment!!
