Check out my Variegated Taro. Heโ€™s small but oh so purty. Just added to the oasis. His name is Rodolfo. ๐Ÿ˜ #Alocasia #AlocasiaAddicts #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #NewPlantMom #AnthuriumQueen #CarolinesWinterGarden
Oh wow thatโ€™s nice. I donโ€™t know if I have heard of that one before. Looks perfect. Definitely wasnโ€™t damaged in shipping or anything it appears. Crazy how white the spots on the leaves can be.
@SirLiquorice I think they did an amazing job at packing it. I like the fact that the leaves will get larger. Iโ€™m a fan of large foliage plants.
Oh yea Rodolfo is gorgeous
@AnthuriumQueen I think Iโ€™ve maybe seen the non variegated one before at palm Buddha. But it was HUGE if it is the same plant. Like wonโ€™t fit in most living rooms big. The leaves get so large if itโ€™s the same one. But it might be different. One had a huge flower forming also.
@AnthuriumQueen you should explore palm Buddha still if you havenโ€™t yet. Itโ€™s only 2 miles down the road from me.
@FitBrowallia I agree. This is what heโ€™s supposed to look like once mature. @SirLiquorice
@SirLiquorice I may just stop by one day soon. ๐Ÿ˜
Beautiful!!!
@AnthuriumQueen Rodolfo is a handsome Taro. I โค๏ธ eye candy ๐Ÿญ lolโ€ฆI bet you stare at him all day.
Hahaha! Love the name! Handsome dude!
@Rockrlee Iโ€™ve been working on my landscaping so I havenโ€™t been able to sit and admire him as much as I want to. But I will! ๐Ÿ˜
@KDkat3 Thanks! ๐Ÿ˜
@GuruLionsmane I like the name too! ๐Ÿ˜
Beautiful! Theyโ€™re gonna grow massive ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. Got mine as a baby and itโ€™s already putting out leaves that are 2 feet in size and itโ€™s only itโ€™s first season. They produce new leaves every 2 weeks. Mine are surprisingly heavy feeders, so make sure to feed them well. Will share pics once I get home.
@Plantoholic I canโ€™t wait to see yours! I have the non-variegated one. We love it so when I saw this one, I just had to get it! Looking forward to your snapshots!
@AnthuriumQueen I have an appreciation for large leaf foliage as well.๐ŸŒท

Can't wait to see photos of Rodolfo in six months to a year. He's handsome now; I expect he'll only become more of a showstopper over time.

I've been preserving the leaves of my Yucatan Princess to mark the progression of their growth. Keep thinking about framing them.
@CorvidFan please share those leaves with us! Thatโ€™s inspirational!
@AnthuriumQueen
A day or two late but here you go! Had some bigger leaves with more variegation which got absolutely destroyed in the last hail storm but these new ones look great too.
@Plantoholic simply stunning! I canโ€™t wait until mine gets that big!
