Check out my Variegated Taro. Heโs small but oh so purty. Just added to the oasis. His name is Rodolfo. ๐ #Alocasia #AlocasiaAddicts #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #NewPlantMom #AnthuriumQueen #CarolinesWinterGarden
@SirLiquorice I think they did an amazing job at packing it. I like the fact that the leaves will get larger. Iโm a fan of large foliage plants.
@AnthuriumQueen I think Iโve maybe seen the non variegated one before at palm Buddha. But it was HUGE if it is the same plant. Like wonโt fit in most living rooms big. The leaves get so large if itโs the same one. But it might be different. One had a huge flower forming also.
@AnthuriumQueen you should explore palm Buddha still if you havenโt yet. Itโs only 2 miles down the road from me.
@SirLiquorice I may just stop by one day soon. ๐
@AnthuriumQueen Rodolfo is a handsome Taro. I โค๏ธ eye candy ๐ญ lolโฆI bet you stare at him all day.
@Rockrlee Iโve been working on my landscaping so I havenโt been able to sit and admire him as much as I want to. But I will! ๐
@KDkat3 Thanks! ๐
@GuruLionsmane I like the name too! ๐

Beautiful! Theyโre gonna grow massive ๐. Got mine as a baby and itโs already putting out leaves that are 2 feet in size and itโs only itโs first season. They produce new leaves every 2 weeks. Mine are surprisingly heavy feeders, so make sure to feed them well. Will share pics once I get home.
@Plantoholic I canโt wait to see yours! I have the non-variegated one. We love it so when I saw this one, I just had to get it! Looking forward to your snapshots!
@AnthuriumQueen I have an appreciation for large leaf foliage as well.๐ท
Can't wait to see photos of Rodolfo in six months to a year. He's handsome now; I expect he'll only become more of a showstopper over time.
I've been preserving the leaves of my Yucatan Princess to mark the progression of their growth. Keep thinking about framing them.

@CorvidFan please share those leaves with us! Thatโs inspirational!
@AnthuriumQueen
A day or two late but here you go! Had some bigger leaves with more variegation which got absolutely destroyed in the last hail storm but these new ones look great too.

@Plantoholic simply stunning! I canโt wait until mine gets that big!
