My poor Betula needs to slow down with popping up pups, she's starting to look like a possum with all those babies hanging on her! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Consula there next to her was one of the pups she came to me with, so she's a very good mother plant to work off of whenever the pups are big enough to leave the stem~ ๐Ÿ’•

Omg @vvvelo look ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€
@vvvelo ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
Weird mine is doing the same thing right now. I probably should repot it already. Yours looks pretty nice and healthy. Itโ€™s going to look more awesome this time next year I bet
It already looks awesome so I can only imagine a year or two from now
@SirLiquorice I wonder if it's common for them to produce a lot of pups around this time of the year? ๐Ÿค”

I actually found her by chance at a local farmer's market over the summer, and she's been such a nice and easy plant to care for since she's been here - super glad I decided to stop there~ ๐Ÿฅฐ
Iโ€™m wondering if itโ€™s the size or age or I wonder if itโ€™s because mine is root bound possibly?
Mine is growing pups or branches like never before
@LadyStarStrings you have yours under a grow light?
Mine seems to love the grow light or sunlight. Isnโ€™t picky
@LadyStarStrings you definitely found a good one. Such a amazingly low maintenance plant
@SirLiquorice Yeah, most of mine are under grow lights because my room doesn't have the longest periods of direct sunlight throughout the day. She was full-sun outside where I picked her up, but she seems to have been growing more pups now than she was there.
This is awesome!!! She looks so all those pretty babies.
But a sweet looking possum. Love her colour
My aloe is pumping out pups too!
@PlantyPlanter Maybe it's just that time of year for plant pups! ๐Ÿ˜‚
@LadyStarStrings I guess! Or maybe succulents are just badass like that!?๐Ÿ˜‚
@LadyStarStrings Tell me all your SOB secrets! Mine have been completely uninterested in any growth for months! Last growth was in the winter I think... I brought her inside for the summer when the temps got over 80 degrees (about 3 months ago) as she was getting very sunburned... No growth then, but that was to be expected... A month or so later I gave her some new soil & a slightly bigger pot since her initial pot was tiny... No growth, gave her a slow release nutrient boost... Still no growth ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ Right now I'm trying to give her some supplemental sun with a grow light.

@roxyvivien To be perfectly honest with you, all I've done since I got her was repot and place her under grow lights. All of my pots have slow-release fertilizer pellets, and every now and then I use food drops, but that's the only extra bits I've added. Other than that, I don't think there's anything special that I've done for her to pop so many pups, at least not that I know of.
Maybe I did something without knowing though, cause she definitely didn't have this many when I got and repotted her! ๐Ÿ˜‚
I can send you links to the pellets and food if you wanna check them out, maybe that lil bit is helping more than I realize?
@LadyStarStrings is it this one? That's what I use ๐Ÿ˜Š
@roxyvivien Yepper pepper, those are the same pellets! ๐Ÿ˜Š
These are the food drops I use if you're interested in those - they say "cactus" on the front, but they're good to use on cacti, succulents and citrus plants.
Thank you @LadyStarStrings I tried those before but accidentally left them outside in hot direct sun ๐Ÿ˜ณ (which, I found out makes them ineffective) so I figured the slow release pellets were more foolproof for me ๐Ÿ˜‚
@roxyvivien I got mine from work cause they were marked down to $1 a piece when I got my first batch of babies, they've done pretty well so far, but I don't use them as much now that I have the pellets. ๐Ÿ˜‚
