Can anyone tell me what going on with my snake plant? What caused it to do this? Should I cut that part of the leaf off? How do I prevent this moving forward? Any advice and solutions are greatly appreciated. #SnakePlant

Most probably it's too much water. Snake plants need water once in 2 months in Winter. How often do you water ?

@SvelteKingfern you may be absolutely right about that bc I water it more than once every 2 months. I went ahead and cut that part of the leaf off bc it was going to spread. I’ll be sure to water it way less. Thank you.

These are mine. I never water them. There's a roof over them, so rain doesn't fall on them. They just drink mist from occasional rain.

The yellow ones have been poisoned by mistake by a friend of mine, but they survived.
