In person I mostly stick to #TraderJoes, #Aldi, and #homedepot. Online, #OrangeLake and #mountaincrestgardens.

I don't really have any favorite places for this, so I am mostly informing you about my local stores. I do note this is on the coast of Oregon for the most part, so this may not apply to many other places.
Once, I found my local Fred Meyer (found in the western parts of the US) sometimes sells some decent to okay plants. I bought my #monstera, #tiplant, #alocasia, #graptosedum, and #luckybamboo there. I probably also bought my #dracaena from there, but I'm not too sure.
Walmart is quite mediocre. I bought my #creepingmyrtle, #brighteyes, and #hyacinth bulbs from there. The first two were on clearance because they were dying.
Ray's is a small store that is mainly only good for food, but they do sell some other things for high prices. I bought my #philodendron there yesterday for $40 USD. I have never seen any other popular plants there, though.

@captainstardust I would venture to guess that it would depend entirely on where you live. And of course what type of plants youβre looking for. I live in Florida and even though some places like planetdesert. com have an incredible selection of cacti and succulents they are in CA. An shipping takes too long. Same with mountaincrestgardens.com ! I prefer to buy in State like American plant exchange or Plantproper.com also in Florida and thatβs just to name a few.
@Ms.Persnickety Iβm in Virginia and not sure we have any local online sources β but plantproper.com is new to me and has a lovely, well priced Ficus Shivereana! Thanks for the link!
@Catplantaddict
I've had great success with Costa Farms and also have to give them a big shout-out.
When my plants arrived in March, they came with a 3 month free subscription to Greg and that's what led me to this best app on the Internet and to all of you wonderful peeps! π₯³β£οΈ
I also go to my local, down to earth, small nursery. π

@Ms.Persnickety I'm in CA and get the majority of mine from FL π
Iβm loving Peace, Love & Happiness Club β lots of $5 deals! They also have aquarium plants and I need a couple. Thanks, @SteffyHazPlants. I may be ordering from them.
Of course I have a Plant Proper cart as wellβ¦ π€
