Some of my plants started growing. I’m not sure if half of my corms are going to make it. 🤬 But I guess this is the way it goes sometimes. Dang it. 😫 But I do love this buddy! @Dawgfreak ha ha 🤣 my true babies! The big guy with a docked tail is Rune - Cane Corso Mastiff. The big black and white girl is Awshā - Great Dane. They are mom and dad to four of the puppies she has! The little guy is Walter. Rune’s best friend in the world 🤣 I’ll have to get a photo of them tomorrow.
@Dawgfreak sorry it’s taken me longer… please don’t mind my mess. It’s been a hard health day of late. This is my sweet angel rune (he’s daddy to all the puppies) 🐶 he loves to carry around his bunny, his nickname is also bunny rabbit, he hops around everywhere when he gets excited
@Idplantthat he is absolutely gorgeous! I love that he has a stuffed animal ❤️. Black dogs are some of my favorites. Is he a Mastiff?
@Dawgfreak You are good! He is a mastiff, he’s from a show line of Cane Corso Mastiffs (Italian mastiff). He’s about 100 pounds heavier than a standard cane, however. He’s about 200 pounds, with a son who lives here and is two, weighing in at 220 and still growing. This is Uggi, Runis son, he’s half mastiff/Great Dane. Then his other son, Atlas, and Rocky (Rockstar lives with my mum). Atlas lives here and is the skinny mini of them all. 🤣 Atlas is in the second photo. Momma is the black and white Great Dane, and last is Teddy (who strongly identifies as the puppies’ momma). Ted took puppy care to the next level. If he gets anywhere near a puppy, he tries to mother it. He flips them, cleans them, loves them. They tried nursing and found quickly he was not a fan of nursing, but anything else he was very involved in. We’d find him in their whelping station, sleeping with them, and cleaning them up. 🤣
@Idplantthat OMG what a gorgeous pack! I love big dogs! The brindle coats are so pretty 😍. The puppy lovers are so sweet and he’s too cute! I worked with rescues for many years until I just couldn’t deal with the endless need & had to give it up for my own good. I saw every breed under the sun. My friend also has an English Mastiff so I see pics of him all the time.
@Idplantthat that’s too funny. My dogs will not eat fruit unless I try to take it from them. They act like they are going to eat it, but walk off with it or drop it on the floor. If I go to pick it up, they’ll eat it before I can get to it. 🙄. Lol…. They won’t eat vegetables either.

I love the English and mastiffs in general. 🤭 I worked with rescues for a while and I agree it was rewarding but also so incredibly hard to deal with. The things humans are capable of is just, well, a loss of words.. 😞 I had a Persian before Runi, he was raised in the start of his life with her, he was terrified of her when he was little. Loved our frenchie, who was seriously the scariest little bastard you’d ever met. (I don’t agree with dog fighting at all, but frenchies used to be dog fighters and they got a mean strike!) Chaka was my service dog, but if you were a dog and came near us, omg 🙈 he was scary.. but he raised our wolf/coyote (talk about a weird animal to raise) she was an amazing girl. But totally different from regular dogs. The first time she taught herself how to play with a human (me) she tackled me from behind and grabbed my neck. I just laughed and she let go but it was interesting to say the least 🤣
