Meet Larissa, my (twins?) mini #Monstera Adansonii! #SwissCheeseVine

A few weeks ago I mentioned a store in my city was selling 2” pots of #MonsteraAdansonii (from what I was told told they weren’t even that big! Incredible)

Turned out I didn’t buy them, but a friend passed by and got me not only one, but two (they were replanted into the same pot by her as they were EXTREMELY root bound in the smaller ones)!

Sending you pics of the before and after. I never thought of getting a Monstera before, but let’s see how it goes!

2ft to light, indirect
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 week ago
The roots had to be treated to as they were almost breaking the pot πŸ₯² but here’s hoping they turn out alright!
I've found my Adansonii has a strong will to live. Root bound isn't root rot, I believe they'll not only be fine but will flourish, Gustavo.

How did you treat the roots?
These are pretty, you will love them! They vine like crazy.
They look great!
@CorvidFan she didnt notice any root rot, so basically giving them a nice wash and freeing them as they were extremely bound. Took a long time to guarantee whether there was any rot and to not accidentally cut off parts of the healthy roots. I didn’t ask about a peroxide bath but it’s possible it was done, although not guaranteed since she didn’t notice any rot :)
Get yourself a moss pole for the monstera to climb
They are such a joy and fast growers, too! ☺️🌿
Here is mine that I forgot to send you a picture of ☺️
Mine are just supported by bamboo sticks, but they seem to be rather happy about it, and there is close to no room between the leaves on the stem. They just keep coming πŸ˜…

There is also two in a pot πŸ₯³πŸŒ±πŸŒ±
@learydarrel suddenly my room is going to be filled with poles! Lol
I’m thinking I’ll gift them to my mom, especially since we still live near and she loves vining plants
@Linx beautiful! I think due to their size I won’t install a pole just now, especially since although they were just repotted, they are in a rather small pot. I think I’ll follow your lead!
Oh, and this is the same plant back in February!
It really does grow fast 🀭πŸͺ΄

And it has 2 new leaves coming πŸƒπŸŒΏπŸŒ±
@Linx update: they grow REEEEALLY fast!
@Gustavo yass! They really do! Here is mine 🀭
