Just in case you were unaware.
They have sprays that are made for fruiting trees to keep them from producing fruit and making a mess. Especially for ornamental trees like a FLF since you can't eat the fruit anyway.
You can use it on FLF, olive trees etc. I like it for my olive tree that is planted and branches hang above my pool. Making black stains otherwise. What it does is prevents the fruit from forming.
I took a screenshot so you can see what I'm talking about. It really does work. But you have to use it before the fruit starts. So keep it on hand for next year.

@SuperbRaspfern hmm that's interesting. But the issue here is that, the FLFs aren't mine ð
. They're part of a condominium, they they're planted soo close to the pavement outside of the complex. Unless the residents complain, i can't do anything either
