Yep it's Edema, but it won't hurt your plant in this case. I hardly ever water mine and it still gets it. As the leaves grow and age it disappears and leaves no damage behind.
That is quite a bit though, a teeny bit less water would be beneficial, just because I don't want your plant to get rot. She's very beautiful 🌿❤️

I just got it this past December from my sister for my birthday so I'm still working on the watering schedule.With all of the horror stories I've heard, I was just so dang excited that it hadn't dropped all its leaves and started acting like a diva! They don't call them Fickle Leaf Figs for nothing! Ha!Now that I know, I can back off a bit on watering. I appreciate you! 💚👍😁
@SweetAzurebluet and edema is basically water where ut shouldnt be (like edema of ur legs etc.) its funny how sometimes nursing & houseplants have so much in common! Lol

@princesspitstop i also stick mine inside the holes at bottom of inner nursery pot as well, just to be sure i dont get tempted to water when it can wait a day or 2. I also add my SuperThrive into my filtered water so eaxh time i water, i feed and as long as u use grow lights, its always growing season i have noticed that some of my plants need watered a day or 2 sooner than prior to the ,igrow lights. It gives me perfect time to examine my plant too as i let rhe water drain i use lighted magnifier as i examine, talksing as i inspext. For ex. For my ponytail, i take each section and i comb thru her hair while checking that all is well. Shes gotten double the sections since i got her. I kinda rhink shes scared thwt if i see something i dont like ill stop singing and she’ll begin to hear “REDRUM, REDRUM“ (how i wish u could hear my gutteral tone at rhis momenr!! Lol jk i love my plants so very muxh!!!!!As long as they behave......
@BuffCaperspurge Exactly 💯 it's always better to under water than over water. Look at you! I have a feeling that you've dealt with pests before! Hahaha believe it or not I heard the way you said it when I read it 🤣🤣🤣 I want a ponytail palm so very bad!! I had one that was left in an apartment that my husband brought me but it was left in there way too long and unfortunately it did not make it. 😭 Broke my heart. I tried everything to revive it.
