I hope everyone’s first week of the new year has gone well, I can’t believe it’s 2025 already!? That kinda sounds like some futuristic number 🤪
We’ve got a gorgeous variation of green colors today & even some 🍊!
My lovely zebra plant has finally started looking like a normal plant again & we only have one crispy leaf left!! 🤞🏼 I figured out what she wants 😅
Oh! We can’t forget the cute overnight 🍄 I found in my Hoya Parviflora!! Look how cute 🥹

Good morning ☀️ #brunchataudreys bunch and thank you @elisenavidad for getting things started this morning👍 Usually Carole @Arid_oasis and I have Tuesday but perhaps there was a switch? Doesn’t matter, we are underway!!! I love that you’ve figured out what your Zebra plant 🦓 🪴 wants. What did it end up being? I couldn’t figure it out and mine went to the great landfill in the sky🪦. Love the little 🍄 and your Hoyas are beautiful 🥰. I see clear plastic, is that a greenhouse you’ve got them in?
Looks like it’s going to be a nice day here. Sunny already along the coast so that’s a good sign. Here’s a pic of the very last leaf of my favorite Rex begonia “Eliza” that took a turn for the worse a few months ago. I put it in a plastic container in moss and placed it in a baggie. I almost threw it out a couple of times thinking it was futile. This teeny leaf threw out one minute root at Christmas. Now today there are the teeniest little leaves! Zoom in to see them, there’s about three or four 🌱🥰 🥹🎉 Also SOP cascading down around a new pot of SOP’s 😊. Everyone have a wonderful day 👍😀☺️🤗

My “Denali is sprouting up either a 🍃 or a flower not sure as of yet, of what’s taking shape. I have given them the name of “Silent Partners”! @MariansOasis haha I mixed up my days, my bad! & I figured out the zebra plant needed the highest humidity I could possibly provide… which meant I had to get a grow light for my bathroom & basically leave the shower on hot test water for a few minutes before I get in the shower & it really gets the steam / humidity cooking & that’s fixed it!!! & yes, I have an indoor greenhouse I’ve been utilizing for my Hoyas!

@SweetAzurebluet love the zero drama 🎭 plants too! Snake and ZZ rule that list!! It looks like Denali has a hitchhiker. Do you have something with lobed leaves like that? Or maybe it was there and just sprouted out with your good care 🤗

@MariansOasis To my surprise, it came with “Denali”! I believe it was dormant, and just waiting for the right fertilizer to come along…… WTW! 😉😃
@SweetAzurebluet I used to bottom water the SOP and SO Dolphins🐬 but found a lot of my difficulties with them was bottom soil being wet while top was dry. They have shallow roots. Switched to shorter pots with width about the same as depth. I top water a dribble at a time, wait for that 💧 to absorb and then add more until it doesn’t absorb any more. There’s like a “false bottom” to the pot, about 3/4” of space and a plug on the very bottom. I open that plug and drain off any excess water. Most advice I’ve seen top watering encourages mold, mildew or string rot but I’m not finding that to be the case. Mine get a lot of SE bright indirect sun and a couple of hours of early morning direct sunlight so that might be the difference.
