Repotting pics of succulent arrangements! πŸ’œπŸ™‚πŸͺ΄πŸ“Έ
I made an amateur mistake putting some #jade plants in pots with direct sun-loving #sedum #echeveria & #Kalanchoe.
Today, I repotted the Jade Ovata & Gollum together.
πŸŒ±πŸ’š The fuzzy varieties got their own pot & the rest of the cute bb's are sitting pretty in a terracotta pot! 😍 πŸ’πŸŒ± #succulentsquad #succulentlove
Jade loves direct sunlight either.
I keep my Jade under direct sunlight in the west side window.
@vvvelo I still give my Jades some direct sun... But My West facing deck gets waaaay too much direct Southern California Sun - Its about 5 hours too much for my Jade plants πŸ˜₯ - it's totally fine in the fall through spring but... now it's Summer and the sun is full throttle overhead on my deck and it's 90 degrees most days πŸ₯΅πŸ˜³ I'm rotating and moving my bb's all day. Lol
LIVING for these arrangements!!
My jades are in direct morning to noon sun and are doing great!
@FullMarimo wish I had an east facing deck πŸ˜” but my outdoor west-facing deck gets only direct full sun from 10am to Sunset. πŸ₯΅ So I'll be giving my propigated Jade arrangement to a freind who has a little more shade for these bb's. πŸ™‚πŸ’•πŸŒ±
I love the pink blush on a sun stressed jade, but if you like the green you’re doing the right thing and it looks great!
@Mrsjenger the red is very pretty 😍 Personally, I like them a red tips on bright light green leaves. But I also find when they get really deep red all over I get excessive leaf drop from the bottom - they turn yellow and shrivel, so it's a delicate balance... Just my luck, that my Jade plants tend to be a bit picky lol ☺️
@Mrsjenger OMG your #Pilea Money Plant is gorgeous! 🌿 πŸ’– Please give me all you tips. πŸ™ I can't seem to get mine to get that deep green color - and she keeps yellowing. πŸ˜” I think I'm more of a succulent girl, the tropicals don't love me as much. πŸ˜… Here is my latest Pic... I just fertilized her 3 days ago.
@roxyvivien hahaha thanks! She got the happiest after I gave her that new pot with good soil. It’s also a couple years old.
@Mrsjenger Oooh, excellent tip! I do suspect the soil may be an issue. I think I potted her about 9 months ago... I can't remember what I used - probably just reg succulent soil, but I don't think I mixed it with extra perlite and pumice like I usually do. I think I'll change her soil when she dries out next, thank you! β™₯
@roxyvivien just saw I never updated her pic.
Omg So Gorg! ❣️
