Congrats champ. Was wellll deserved.
They look really great too.
Thanks @RJG, hopefully I can fill your OG champ shoes πŸ’ͺ🏼
@PlantMompy they are stunning 🀩. You will love your Rattlesnake Plant. I also have one that’s a rehab. It’s the first picture. Congratulations on your win!
@PlantMompy are you coming for my job πŸ‘€πŸ˜‚
@KikiGoldblatt 😍
@RJG no, I told you, I'm gunning for unpaid intern πŸ’ͺ🏼
@JCPlantProper thanks to you!!
Wow 🀩 those are gorgeous, congratulations! Calathea is one of my favorites and I find that these do best with consistency. Same amount of water on the same day and in the same place. Definitely do not let them get direct sun β˜€οΈ. They will show their displeasure for that boo-boo right away πŸ˜†πŸ€ͺ☝️πŸͺ΄. But when they’re happy, they’re the πŸͺ΄πŸͺ΄that make me happiest!
Amazing!! They look so good!! πŸ₯°
@MariansOasis so I should make up my mind about where they are going to go and walk away, got it πŸ˜‚
@sarahsalith thanks!!
If anyone can find a way to give those picky calatheas proper care, I’m confident it’s you!
Thanks @lemrobs πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—
Beautiful! I have a question. What is the best way to prevent brown curling leaves?
Congratulations on your win again.😊
Wow! Beautiful!
I like the different shades of green on each one. What type of plants are these?
@R_L15748 typically it has to do with watering/humidity. It depends on the plant but my guess would be that it needs more water or increased humidity if the leaves are crunchy. Curling is usually the plants way of conserving water.
@CoolNoblefir thanks, Tina!

Yaaaay that’s exciting! Congrats again!!

For Calatheas, assuming they’re not having a bad day in which case NOTHING will stop the tantrums… here’s what’s worked for me:
β€’ Distilled water / tap water that’s been set out for 24 hours or longer
β€’ Medium to low light conditions
β€’ Never terracotta, they dry out too quickly
β€’ As much humidity as possible aka invest in a humidifier
β€’ Praying to the plant gods once a fortnight to ask for mercy
β€’ Offerings of gentle fertilizer with every watering (Happy Happy Houseplant has been a favorite of theirs)
β€’ Don’t let them see you cry
β€’ Praise your other plants for growing so well in front of them, they get jealous and want be the best in all things, so it’s a good way to reverse psychology them into doing well

No but seriously, the distilled water is the most important thing. You got this!
@hoyahead I'll get my dancing pants on for my mercy dance πŸ•ΊπŸ½
