#brunchataudreys #TheWateringHole something super exciting is happening in my patio garden. My #PolkaDotPlant has flowers! Such a nice surprise on a hectic pre-Thanksgiving Monday. I didn’t know these little guys could bloom — have any of you ever seen this?

Hi 👋 @ShadowBoxrBaby Your polka dot plant is adorable!! And yes, mine that live outside get lots of purple flowers 🌺 🌺🌺🌺. I let them flower for a little bit, then trim them off so they don’t spend energy on going to seed.

@MariansOasis I do! Though I’m sadly running out of space. My fiancé keeps joking that I’ll need to start selling furniture in my apartment to make room for plants. 😅

@Sarahsmile I’m sorry to hear that — it has beautiful colors! I’m not sure what your light setup is like, but mine has done pretty well with just some morning sun and then shade in the brightest part of the day. I’m definitely not an expert, but I’ve read that they can be a bit sensitive to too much direct light.
