Ok #ficusgang, #ficusfam I need your help.

I'm looking to grow my pack and I'm not sure who I want to add next. What #ficus are you loving or keeping an eye out for?

I've definitely been πŸ‘€ Audrey and Alii, but have also discovered variegated triangularis, umbellata and petiolaris that seem fun! I am 🀀 over shivereana moonshine but I'm not sure I'm ready to make that plant jump yet....

are there any you want to see and or my opinion of πŸ‘€
I’ve got two Audrey’s and love them both. So easy to care for and both are pushing out new leaves.
How much light do you have?

EDIT: I ask because my Audrey and my Triangularis outside and my petiolaris sits in a west window.

I've been stalking @rjg's umbellata; it looks amazing!
@RJG all of your opinions, always. But maybe to narrow it down thoughts on any mentioned above, and/or if there are a couple you love that I didn't mention/don't have?
@sarahsalith I have quite a bit of natural light, each direction and even have some picture windows.

Currently I have my FLF in an east window and the rest of my ficus' are in west windows
I have all the ones you mentioned except the shivereana. πŸ˜‚
@RJG ok, of those 5, which are your 3 faves and why? Or even just if you had to pick one that I "have to get" which would it be? (Let's be real, "have" to get them all πŸ˜‚)
Petiolaris - Fun Heart leaves - cool red leaf veining - Caudex

Palmeri - (technically the same as petiolaris but presents differently) no cool red veining but cool leaves.

Umbellata - easy grower - big heart leaves - like HUGE leaves

Triangularis - super pretty - named trife because it's always trifling and moody.
Honestly a bit basic but any elastica is such a hardy easy plant! And they grow unbelievably fast so you can buy em small! It’s such an amazing starter ficus
@mars.is.mad I have four or five elastica varieties and love them all! That's why I'm trying to expand my collection, I might have tapped out my elastica options πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
@PlantMompy omg I miss read the post so sorry πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ I thought you meant expand your full collection and you gonna get into ficus next lol my bad! I think Audrey’s are great they are so fuzzy great for leaf petting but so far I give mine close to perfect conditions and it only gives me 2 leaves a year lol so I’d recommend getting a bigger one if you want a fuller plant
No worries, @mars.is.mad!

I love that Audrey review 😍
Team Audrey here too, I just love mine! Feel like you can’t go wrong with any ficus really. That Altissima in the pic is gorgeous and one I’ve been πŸ‘€
The Tineke!!!! She was super finicky initially, but I’ve loved watching her grow this summer. I want the triangularis next!
