Congrats on the new plant! OK, so here's the short of it... plants are a little like us in that when put into a new environment, they need some time to adjust to that new environment before being able to truly thrive in it. So obviously, thatβs stressful for them. When you repot a plant it is also stressful for them. Why? You're messing about with one of the things at the top of the list for keeping them alive. Unfortunately, we all damage the roots a bit when we repot, even if we are super careful. So it's best to wait until they are happy, healthy, and 100% used to their environment. This will give your new plant baby the chance they need to thrive in their new home.
That said, there is an exception to that rule. That is, if the plant is so root bound in their pot, it would do more harm than good to leave them in the pot. You will know this because the roots may be growing out of the holes in the bottom of the pot. The roots may also be growing out of the top if it's bad enough... good luck and ask if you need more help! ;)

@FlashyKatsura @EducatedBeech thank you guys for your help! taking the moss off, giving them some time to adjust, and then iβll repot them into pots with drainage holes because iβm afraid i might over water!!
