Why is my Piper Crocatum dropping leaves?

My Piper Crocatum is dropping seemingly healthy leaves. Would anyone have any insight as to why she might be doing this? #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict

Hi Alyssa! Do you have a recent pic or your piper? Are the leaves dropping toward the bottom?
@alyssatwitty mine seems to be dying or something it has not grown at all since I got it! So I’m no help!😞😞😞
@Nataliesplants here is the leaf that fell, and there she is in the background. I’m suspecting she’s not a thirsty in the winter and i’ve been over watering. Moisture meter said her soil was pretty wet, guess I will try letting her dry out some
@FirstCanna nooo mine has been steadily growing. Do you have her in a bright spot? Mine seems to really like light and to stay consistently moist (but not wet)
@alyssatwitty yea that makes a lot of sense and would be my guess. Mine seems to like to be consistently moist so I usually water if top of the soil is dry. I actually lost two leaves to underwatering so I think she’s a little picky. I would just reduce the water and and monitor the other leaves. If it’s just one and you adjust I wouldn’t sweat it too much! The rest of the plant looks happy
