Can thrive in medium to low light, and tolerates prolonged drought. Water as little as every other month in winter!

I’ve had this plant for 2 months and I’ve watered it once while potting. So low maintenance, I thought it was a joke

This plant is SO low maintenance and has made it through numerous moves. It always looks lush and gorgeous and needs almost nothing from me to be happy.

Really easy plant, mine may look a bit sad right now due to an infestation, but still going strong!

I love this plant. It is lush, a fast grower and requires less watering than many other indoor plants.

This plant is notoriously difficult to kill. Mine goes a couple of weeks at a time without water and it’s thriving. I keep it 0.5m from a south facing window in bright indirect light with a couple of hours of evening sun.

The ZZ Plant is a very tough houseplant. Although it can tolerate lower light, it is best to provide them with bright indirect light to encourage its growth. Do take note not to overwater it as it is susceptible to root rot as it has a tuberous root system which stores water!

My Zz is one of the very first plants I owned. I’ve had him for around 4 years and he’s still going strong! Before I knew what I was doing I never changed his soil and looking back now I realize how much of a survivor he is. He’s grown multiple strong green shoots and has always kept this vibrant green color. Whenever he has gotten sick, I just simply have to cut the sick shoots at their base and he grows a healthy one right behind it. This is the perfect plant for the beginner!

My specimen was a gift and was supremely beat up in the mail. Since it arrived in February it has produced 3 new shoots in its spot on the front porch. It gets maybe 2 hours of morning light and I give it hose water. Wonderfully resilient plant.
