Love this plant so much! I split one into three and kept two and gave one to a friend who was very excited to have it. They are not easy to propagate but they split well and I think that’s even better

I’ve seen a clear direct correlation between light level (indirect!) and growth. Move it away from the window, slow growth. Move it close, and the side towards the window goes bright green and UP (it grows quickly lol). Trying to leaf prop it and it’s taking its time but I knew it would. Overall a cool plant. The ‘green potato’ rhizomes look cool when they peek above the soil :)

Zz plants are amazing and they give you so much for doing so little. My best piece of advice is to just forget they are there for a little while (2 weeks) and when you come back, there is so much new growth!

I have 2 myself, and regular one and a Raven Zz. Both are beautiful to look at.

I have a ZZ and a Raven ZZ and they are such easy plants. They grow pretty quickly, are easy to split in two, and are so nice to have (particularly the Raven, I just split it and gave some to a friend because they love how it looks!)

One of my first houseplants. This guy has been fun to care for. It survived in a low light apartment and is now thriving on an east-facing windowsill. Easy to care for, it doesn’t wilt easily, it doesn’t shed leaves 🍃. I think Zz plants are dependable and confident. The Dwight Schrute of the plant kingdom 🙂
