This plant is wonderful I love it. It has been with me for about 30 years. It’s a pretty fast grower but not super fast for anybody who is impatient. It does propagate easily from cuttings in water. …

This wax plant brings me so much joy. It’s super low maintenance- doesn’t need bright sun or frequent watering. It’s leaves are so lush looking and have these gorgeous marbled variations of color.
Beautiful Hoya! Will bloom after some time (like years) but well worth the wait!!!! Long life (like 100 years!) My Hoya is a cutting from a Hoya that is 30 years old!
Was given this beautiful plant. She was root bound and we had to cut pot off it really was that bad, now in a bigger pot so hopefully will blossom
I had this plant for 2 years, I think I plant it in the wrong pot because it us not growing, I need to repot it in a good drainage.
Easy to propagate, can dry out between watering’s, has beautiful wax like flowers that smell so sweet and beautiful.
How to care for Waxplant
Waxplant needs 0.5 cups of water every 12 when it doesn’t get direct sunlight and is potted in a 5" pot.
Use our water calculator to personalize watering recommendations to your environment or download Greg for more advanced recommendations for all of your plants.
Waxplant may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Waxplant in your home 🏡.
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Waxplant after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.
