How to fertilize Pickle Plant
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Pickle Plant after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Is my Pickle plant rotting? My Pickle Plant has been dying for the last few days. I've tried giving it less water since a lot of online research has given the idea that it's rotting. Is this the case? I'm wondering because it seems to be dry at the roots contradicting what people are saying. I'm going on Vacation in a few days and giving it to a friend. Any idea on what I can do?

Pickle is turning greyish? I really love my tiny Pickle Plant (my second, as I annihilated my first one with water and cactus food in the off-season.) I have been following Greg’s 1/8 cup every 2 weeks suggestion, and not fertilized it yet, but I noticed that one of Pickle’s stems seems to be turning grey/white (is it drying up?) Does anyone know what could be going wrong? Or what conditions Pickle Plants really like? Thank you! #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict

What other plant parents say
Such an easy going plant, likes a good water but not too regularly, otherwise can get a little bit squishy. Super soft and fun to touch, definitely something unique and a good talking point.
Pros: Easy to care for, very forgiving.
Cons: Needs full sun, so you may need a grow light if you don’t have the sun levels it prefers.
Take cuttings almost biweekly from this as it grows so fast, these rocket up into large plants in a matter of weeks with lots of water and fun, easiest plant I’ve ever cared for. Forget to water it? No problem, won’t hold a grudge or lose a leaf or brown up, little bit of water and back to besties. Favourite plant by FAR, currently propagating an army of them to create a mega pickle plant bush.
