orchid may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.

Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.

How to fertilize orchid

Nutrient, fertilizer, and repotting needs for orchid: repot after 2X growth

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.

By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.

To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your orchid after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

They don’t like to be alone but if they have a friend in the same pot they bloom more easily and faster. Experiment with how much water your plant would like

My flowers die a lot, they don’t bloom often, and this particular plant lots both its vines so I don’t think it’ll flower again. I just keep it for the leaves.

Orchid are beautiful, but easy to overwater or forget about and underwater. This is not my first orchid, but it is the first I haven’t seemed to kill. It seems to like more sun than I expected, and I water maybe 2x a month. It has grown one leaf and is working on another.
