About Neon Pothos
The bright yellow/green leaves of the neon pothos make them a popular choice for bringing color to your plant collection. Feng shui experts say placing pothos in sharp corners or angles in your home can reduce anxiety and stress. 😌
A NASA/ALCA study on the use of common plants for indoor air purification also labeled golden pothos—along with Philodendron and spider plants—as the most effective in removing formaldehyde from the air. 💨

Finding light for Neon Pothos in your home

a window
Neon Pothos can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.

How to fertilize Neon Pothos

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Neon Pothos after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Is my plant dying? What can i do to help them grow?

Leaves turning white I’ve had this pothos for 3 years now. The pot was very small already and the leaves were turning white. I repotted it a week and a half ago, added some soil fertilizer and some nutrients (repeated this morning) meant for yellowing leaves. When I repotted it there was not root rotting. Please help. No clue in what else to do. It has indirect light all day. #PothosPack #NeonPothos #helpneeded

Any ideas what's going on with my plant? #NeonPothos

New grow light setup! The light I was using before had to be attached to the pot which caused issues. But now I’ve got a grow bulb in an adjustable lamp that gives retro vibes and independence for the pot/plant! I then moved the one it was using to another plant so that one can have more well-rounded lighting. Very excited about this change, and hopeful that it can perk these babies up! #PothosPack #GrowLights

Just got this new plant.. any tips on keeping her healthy and to grow longer??

Thoughts on what this could be? This pothos is still in the propagation phase, which I’m doing in LECA. I changed the water yesterday, and woke up to find this little black split on that small leaf and a little black slit on the bigger leaf. I think I might have over fertilized, not sure. There was also some root rot on neighboring cuttings that I’ve treated by rinsing and snipping the rot off (sanitizing with hydrogen peroxide in between). I sanitized the LECA, the pot, and repotted with fresh water. I also sprayed the leaves with a baking soda/soap/water solution after seeing some white dust that looked like it could be mildew. Should I cut the split/black parts of the leaves off? Could it just be stress from a new environment (the cuttings and really the whole prop setup is a gift from my mom)? What do y’all think is going on? I’m a super beginner, with the opposite of a green thumb. Thanks in advance! #PothosPack #PothosWater #pothoscare #NeonPothos #help

I need help My neon pothos has been looking very sad lately, I have checked for pests and there is nothing obvious. The soil was completely dry so I watered it a bit but that was 2 hours ago and it still looks a bit droopy. What should I do?

Morning after unpacking Neon Pothos The soil isn’t entirely dry, it was pretty moist yesterday when I unwrapped it. Greg couldn’t even identify it as a Pothos today, it looks so sad. What’s wrong? Cold shock?? It’s been 50-75 here the past week. (Picture attached is last night, what it looked like this morning is in the”Neona” plant attached.)

HELP! I tried to help a friend by repotting the plant, as it was in desperate need of a new pot and pruning. However, two weeks later, the leaves are looking droopy, they are soft, some are brown and crusty, others are yellow. I don't know what to do. #NeonPothos

Why is my neon pothos thinning and not growing? I know this is supposed to be a very easy plant but somehow I’m killing her 🥲 any advice? She gets great indirect light from a big window and I’m definitely not over watering her. She has drainage and no pests. Am I under watering?

What other plant parents say

like all pothos, my neon is pretty easy to take care of! although i am in a dorm that only has one window that gets good light, but not enough for him- he’s fine but he’s lost a little neon and is a bit of a green all over. but super pretty and easy to propagate!
