Finding light for Moonstone in your home

Moonstone love being close to bright, sunny windows 😎.
Place it less than 1ft from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Moonstone does not tolerate low-light 🚫.

How to fertilize Moonstone

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Moonstone after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I had to cut off both of my moonstones because it was over watered in the nursery and the stem was rotting, what should I do now? 😥 #Moonstone

My moonstone is in a shared pot, will this affect the growth? #Moonstone

Is this really a moonstone? Greg keeps telling me this is a moonstone, but when I google it, the images look completely different to my plant. Does anyone know if it really is a moonstone or maybe if it is something else?

Is this even a moonstone? #Moonstone I am not sure this one is what Gregg says. I think hes a ghost plant, but idk. He's lost a lot of leaves, but they're healthy so I just, idk, stuck them in the pot with him. Do I trim him tho? Bcs he has a bit of a weird lopsided thing going on. And he's actually really leggy, just buried pretty deep which is also a bit concerning.

Maddie the Moonstone has plumped back up! I put her in a terracotta pot (per Greg instructions) and popped her on the back step to absorb the abundant Ithaca rain (including a visit from Hurricane Debby). Thanks to @Seedstarter for the great advice!

My Moonstone is struggling I got two Moonstone pieces (both had roots). One is struggling while the other is fine. Can you see the wrinkling on the leaves of the one on the right? Anyone have thoughts? I'm worried for her....

What other plant parents say

super cute!! her leaves are chonky and have various colors (they turn more pastel ish in direct sun). she’s being grown hydroponically with a couple drops of fertilizer when i change the water in her jar, she grows rather slowly. these plants have farina (powder coating on leaves) so you have to take care when handling them, i haven’t been the best at this but she doesn’t seem to mind.
