About monstera siltepecanna
The nearly 50 species of plants in the Monstera genus all share some incredible traits, like being world class climbers! 🧗 These plants use aerial roots to grab onto trees as they grow up towards the sun. They've been known to grow more than 60ft/18m tall and many have holes (fenestrations) in the leaves that are believed to help sunlight pass through to lower leaves. The genus name Monstera comes from the Latin word for monstrous/abnormal and is thought to refer to these abnormal leaves!

How to fertilize monstera siltepecanna

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your monstera siltepecanna after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Separate or no? #Monstera I’ve had Molly about a month now and she’s been growing and doing great. I just realized though, she’s actually four plants out together and I’m worried she’s going to take over my house eventually. Do I separate her at all or let it fly?

Should I complain? I ordered a two leaf cutting off Etsy and the second leaf looks quite bad. Should I complain? #PropagationStation #Monstera #PlantsMakePeopleHappy

Another day, another new plant Recently did a plant haul and got this thai con at a good deal. So excited to see it grow! Read somewhere that these are prone to root rots and i'm worried about overwatering so i'd love your expert advice on watering schedule, bottom water or top water? Would a self watering planter with wicks help? I currently have it in a north-east facing balcony which gets 1-2 hours of early morning sun, is that alright? #monstera #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #greggang #thaiconstellation
