About Majesty Palm
The majesty palm earns its name, growing over 100 feet tall in its native Madagascar. There they grow along riverbanks and lagoons, but indoors they bring an air of the tropics to any space. Though popular as a houseplant, they are considered near threatened in the wild with only 900 individuals remaining. 🌴

#tropicalplants My Majesty Palm has some yellow palms and brown dried tips and I was wondering if it has root rot. A month or more I over watered it to the fact that I had to take it outside and pour water out of the pot. Can you please help.

It was growing well them it got more and even though they were taken care of it looks like this. It is a majestic Palm I have struggled with palms. When we moved to this building the first one I had which had been doing well died. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. It is in indirect light of a southern facing window. It gets watered 1-2 times per week keeping the soul slightly damp underneath with short dry periods. It got freed this year with slow releasing fertilizer sticks.

Likes lots of humility and moist soil! Old leaves will drop as new ones grow. Mine started to thrive when I put it right over a humidifier. A little tricky to care for as the leaves will brown if overwatered or too much sun.

I bought Neil via the Internet and he arrived in mediocre shape with a lot of crushed leaves and one stalk. He looked like he was making a decent recovery until my two usually well-mannered puppies dug him up out of the pot. It was a disaster and all but one stalk was damaged. Upon pruning the destroyed parts, I discovered he had small white webs forming everywhere. I washed him all over lightly with a very diluted dish soap. He is hanging in there and I’m shocked at how resilient he is. It’s going to be a long road but I’m hoping to help him recover and flourish.

this guyyyyy has been holding on by a thread since I got her over a year ago, but i love it. my cat likes to munch on her, i forget to water her, and there are never more than two branches but she keeps me on my toes!

These do great indoors if you have a room that stays kinda warm throughout the year and have light But as u see Mine is so crispy because i left it out in the sun for 3 days💀 trying to get the leaf spike to grow so DO NOT put it in direct sunlight

I keep a humidifier nearby for it and try to give it as much sun as possible. It’s growing well and browning less but without enough water and humidity the tips will brown and dry out.

You have to baby this plant if you really want it to grow and you’ll buy it when your poor thinking it’ll be easy to do but it need to be repotted so bad and the next size up is wayyyy out of your price range everywhere you go

It creates so much volume it’s an amazing statement piece. Figuring out the watering schedule was a little tricky but observing and making sure pests in the soil are taken care of can really help out. I recommend it but do a little research first
