Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil itās likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Kalanchoe ndotensis after it doubles in size or once a yearāwhichever comes first.

Advice on Kalanchoe Repots? I need to repot these Florist Kalanchoes (Flaming Katy). Weāve had the mother plant for years and sliced off a baby a couple months ago. We didnāt know it was a succulent until a few months ago. Soooo they are in inappropriate soil and overwatered and grew pretty well like that (very well after I put them outside). Iāve brought them in to avoid rain and some branches broke off. I also didnāt acclimate them, so they got sunburned a month ago. Iām making my own soil mix for succulents/cacti. Should I transplant these to much smaller/shallower terracotta pots in my succulent mix and water less? I want to do that, but I donāt know if that would be too much shock? (Dramatically changing moisture from what itās used to.) Iāve watered much less, but rain has come by surprise a few times š #Kalanchoe #SucculentLove

Aphids... womp womp #Kalanchoe hey all! My Flaming Katy got aphids, and I would love advice! I just treated with rubbing alcohol diluted with water. 1 to 1. I used q tips to really clean as much as I could, im sure I missed some. Just praying its not in the soil and roots. I sprayed with dawn and water, and now im just letting them sit. Then im going to rinse them in a few hours. Were getting Bonide Captin Jack's Deadbug Brew. It should be here in a few days. Legit mortified because I hate bugs. The smaller ones are propigations ive been working on. The two long ones were just transferred to soil yesterday from water. But they all came from the big plant. She got knocked over in a bad wind storm and I wanted to try to revive her babies, and theyve been doing great. Just had no clue they had mealys till now. Thank you in advance, and happy gardening!

Iāve only posted about sick plants, but many are thriving! Did a ton of transplanting today with family. I canāt fit anywhere near all of it in 5 pictures. Several plants had babies, the bonsai grew a root out of its pot, thereās milkweed Iām giving away in little pots all over the house, and we finally got around to separating the lychee plants that I grew from pits from a bag of grocery-store fruit. I soaked and planted a ton bc I thought most wouldnāt grow. All of them grew #HappyPlants

When does it flower #thanksgivingcactus

Felt bush soil I got a cactus succulent soil thatās 75-85% sphagnum peat moss, 5-15% perlite and possibly some sand, dolomite and limestone. Would this work for my felt bush?

Leafs are dying I managed to revive this plant, the flowers were all dying and I had no hope, itās been almost 2 weeks that I changed the soil and pot, but now the leafs are dying. Is that a normal process or what should I do?
-
Is this plant labeled correctly? #Kalanchoe
-
She has been losing her leaves but also grew taller.. not sure if this is normal for her off season. #Kalanchoe
-
Leaves are shriveling around the edges. Any idea what would cause this? This plant is with several other plants in the same pot.
-
Are these aphids or something coming off the plant as the flowers are opening? They arenāt everywhere but concentrated where the flowers are developing. If aphids, whatās the best course of action here?
