Wrinkly lil bean — too much or not enough water? #PropagationStation Hey #Hoya people, attaching a pic of a lil krohniana bean I’m trying to propagate. It’s lightly rooted but no new growth. It’s been looking wrinkly and I don’t know why. Maybe too much light? I have it under a growth light. Any advice would be great thank you!!

Are these signs of under watering or something more serious like root rot? I’ve noticed some of the leaves of my Hoya have because very soft and they start to rot. The plant has been a lot thirstier lately so I wander if it is because I haven’t watered it enough, or if it is a more serious threat like a pest or root rot. Thanks !

Everyone should go check them out, it’s a beautiful plant and I’m pretty sure she has a bunch of others you can buy!! I’ll put the link in a comment. 😊 Pictures- part of the packaging (I took about 3 layers off before it, so it was perfectly packaged), the plant after I first unwrapped it, and the plant after a protectional pest bath (though I didn’t see any when I checked. How would you handle her? #Hoya , so she is now like 4 feet high and has one fairly long branch. I already trimmed the main like 3 times and hopping is possible to either bend it down if it keeps growing lengthwise or that is ok to keep clipping it. My question is about the branch. Should I add another bamboo and bring that branch down, is that even possible with this plants? Or how should I handle her? Just repotted to a bigger pot too.

Soooo… I didn’t stay home and rest and try to recover from last night’s migraine. Instead I met DD1 and my granddaughter at PetSmart, bought #PipSqueakTheIntrepid new cat food (already switching to adult because lil miss has become rather portly since her spay surgery last month), and then we skipped on down to Home Depot. I was hoping ours might’ve gotten some of those Thai Cons that @Kapuac lucked out on getting yesterday at hers. Instead I found literal shelves of houseplants drowning. Not even kidding. Water was pooling on top of soil because the pots were full of water. I was so disgusted. Thus I rescued a handful and hopefully they weren’t too far gone that they succumb during their adjustment period in their new safe haven. I mean there’s one little Hoya that I was legit squeezing water out of when I got home; now it’s out of its grow pot and getting some air while resting on paper towels on my kitchen counter. And oh, the ZZ plant… I probably poured 3/4 cup of water out of its cache pot right there in the store. 🤞🏻 Hope they all make it. I also grabbed a rose bush while there (👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻), and then a short while later we went to Trader Joe’s (*happy sigh* man, I love TJ’s) and I found myself a flippin’ RED orchid!! I have wanted a red orchid for YEARS, and there it was—just one, as if it was waiting for me. Bonus: it was only ten bucks.
