How to fertilize Hens and Chicks
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Hens and Chicks after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Do #hensandchicks prefer southwest or southeast light? Also, will they have dormancy? I wanted to put my baby in her favorite environment ❤️ Also, what do I do during winter? #dormancy #help #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #planttherapy #outdoorgrowing #tipsandtricks

Why does my #hensandchicks grow sooooooooooooooo slow, to the point of there being no growth? I've had her for an entire month and have seen zero growth at all. It's like she's petrified or frozen in time. The only change I made was adding other little sprouts of the same species, which opened slightly and then seemed to be petrified as well. Are these slow growers? #nonewgrowth #hensandchicks #slowgrowth #help #plantaddict #succulentlove

Is there something wrong with my plant? The lower leaves seem to be drooping. Much different from just a week ago.

Recently, I placed my plant outside, but since I saw the change in its leafs. I moved it next to a window where it can get its direct light source. How can I revert the damage?

#hensandchicks keeps getting uprooted (caused by my sister). Will it cause problems? I'm not 18 yet, and I live with my 2 year old sister. Today, she went on my balcony and uprooted my #hensandchicks 3 times today. Will it cause problems?

Ants messed with my plant. What do I do now? #antsareevil #hensandchicks TL;DR: Where should I put my succulent, Sunset? I want to keep ants from trying to invade. Full story: My house has a bunch of ant colonies around it. When I think I have destroyed all the ants, they continue to thrive. Yesterday, I downloaded this app and added Sunset before placing her in my room on the top floor of my 3-story house. The next day, I woke up to 20-30 ants trailing toward her. I took care of the problem, and the ants went away. Where do I put her now, and how do I keep ants out of her and my future plants? All answers are appreciated! #antsareevil #hensandchicks

ANT ALERT!!! I literally woke up to 20-30 ants trailing toward my succulent Sunset. They were coming from a crack in my window frame and trailing FAST. I think they were going for the water and aren't damaging her, and eventually went away. Should I move Sunset next time, even though this spot is one of the only ones that meet their needs? All answers are appreciated! #hensandchicks #antsareevil

Meet this lovely, tiny, thriving beauty! They used to be in a giant pot outside that was under an overhang and was almost never watered. Luckily, I repotted this beauty before repotting it again in my room! #hensandchicks #newplantmom
