I’ve had him since elementary school. So 6 years. If he can survive that he can survive anything. Only learned how to take proper care of him with the last year so he’s only now starting to grow!

It leans toward the sun a lot so I have to rotate it daily. I did not know it was going to grow arms. If you pinch off the arms they will grow roots. It has bloomed before also. It has grown twice the size in four months!

Very easy to care for - just make sure to let it dry out in between waterings. It's a bit of a slow grower, but mine has produced a few blooms since I've had it

I’ve kept this poor plant in the shade for years and I always forget to water it, but still it keeps strong. Though I haven’t notice a lot of growth. Perfect for someone who tends to neglect their plants.

Such a sweet little cactus and grows really well as long as your give them room. They’re hardy and easy to take care of as long as you don’t overwater and give them light!

I've had this plant for 15+ years and all I can say is that it's completely unkillable. It's been chopped in half (it grew back with extra heads). It was abandoned for a month during lockdown. It's been placed in areas too hot and too cold, with direct sunlight and no sunlight at all. I'm convinced nothing can kill this thing and it will outlast me very easily.

When established this plant needs little water and attention. I'm serious when I say that you can just abandon it for a month and it will even put out new growth. However, this is not a fast growing or very exciting plant. Mine has looked almost the same for over a year and because of the climate in New Zealand I cannot get it to bloom.

If you like cacti, or you're a verified plant killer this is the one for you!
