Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Fukien Tea Bonsai after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.
What other plant parents say
Bonsai take 2-3 months to sprout so don’t feel Discouraged if it isn’t growing, it only needs 22ml of water but only water it when the soil is sticks to your finger when pressed :) apart from that please enjoy this lovely plant and have a nice day :)
I got Tree Diddy for my friend and I’m watching him until she is moved into her new place, however upon further inspection when I got home from the nursery he was riddled with sow bugs and nematodes! I repotted, did a gentle root cleanse and replaced the soil. I’ve never had a pest issue with other plants from this place so I’m inclined to believe bugs love these lil guys. However now he’s living the best life with clean roots, budding stems and new blooming flowers!
