How to fertilize Florist Kalanchoe

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Florist Kalanchoe after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

My florist kalanchoe, named dr Gregory house, doesn’t seem to be doing too well. I’m new to plants, what should I do?

Just bought a flower today from a walmart, i’m wondering if the holes in the bottom of the plastic pot count as “drainage” from the pot. I’m prettyyyy new to taking care of plants, anyone have any professional tips? Thank you :) #Kalanchoe

Is it normal for the flowers to dry? Do I snip these off? How tall can this plant grow? How long do they live? This one is a 'baby' plant in a small pot. #Kalanchoe

How can I support this plant? Apparently it’s florist kalanchoe. It just keeps growing taller and taller. I’m not sure how to support it as it’s always growing taller and falling over. Are they supposed to grow this tall?

Is it too much water? Not enough sun? Just something it does? It's been on my desk in the office (no windows) and been trying not to over water because I drowned my last plant baby and this pot doesn't have drainage. Why are the flowers shriveled? I brought it home. So it will be in a window so it will have a little sunlight now.

I was given this Kalanchoe last week by my mother in law who bargain shops and found it for $1.99 because it was “damaged” …. I assume it was blooming when it was full price, so idk if I should cut the flower stems off or just wait to see how she does? I repotted in a 2” bigger pot with succulent soil and the pot has good drainage. It looks much better, it had lots of brown on it and looked all curled up when I got it. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! #Kalanchoe #SucculentLove

Is this normal? I’ve been watering her every eight days as the app tells me too, but she keeps on losing flowers and her leaves. Keep on falling off. Please help me.

What other plant parents say

I haven’t had a lot of luck with my Kalanchoe. It nearly died on me last year just months after getting it, I’m starting to think it was poor conditions at the place I got it from but since repotting, it seems to be getting healthier now but haven’t had any flowers since :( fingers crossed we get them soon!
