Got this for my partner and forgot about her until she dried up and turned brown (I didn’t have this app back then so it’s not my fault I swear). Then more than 6 months later, I saw she had new grow…
I bought this for Galentines Day and I swear it had bad luck. She’s been dropped, knocked over and fallen off the plant area so many time by my family. I’m always worried that it’ll die by the trauma…
I bought this plant at a grocery store mostly for the pot it came in (a polar bear head) around Christmas time. The plant used to have pretty flowers on it, but they fell off. I’m hoping they will co…
Pretty easy to care for. When it blooms, the flowers quickly replace themselves after they die. If it gets direct sunlight, the leaves will brown and die off. Has been thriving and growing like crazy…
My girls gave this to me three years ago as a 3" plant. It grows so well and quickly. As it gets taller, you can just break off a stem and stick it straight into the soil. When it blooms, it's just s…
Oh my gosh! It’s so easy to take care of! I tend to be forgetful with my watering, but this lil guy is resilient! He is a cactus, so he can go for a long time without water! All in all, love them!
This guy was almost a goner due to neglectful care 😕 but once I regularly watered him he’s come back and growing so much! I’d guess he’s over 5 years old and very tolerant to adverse conditions 😬
I brought this home after seeing it at 1/2 price dying in the local grocery store. Lots of sunshine and occasional watering has kept it blooming for three months so far!
So easy to take care of and the flowers are so rewarding and lovely! Highly recommend this plant to anyone.
Love this plant! But they get powdery mildew easily just had to cut an infected piece yesterday :/
How to care for Florist Kalanchoe
Florist Kalanchoe needs 0.5 cups of water every 9 when it doesn’t get direct sunlight and is potted in a 5" pot.
Use our water calculator to personalize watering recommendations to your environment or download Greg for more advanced recommendations for all of your plants.
Florist Kalanchoe may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your city to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Florist Kalanchoe in your home 🏡.
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Florist Kalanchoe after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.
