How to fertilize Fishbone Prayer Plant

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Fishbone Prayer Plant after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Curled leaves??? What is going on here? My calathea’s leaves rolled up all of a sudden. They’re not browned or crispy at all, they feel pretty normal, they just curled up and flopped. I thought it was a lack of humidity and put it next to a humidifier and that did nothing. Then my stromanthe did the same thing. Is there any hope? What on earth is happening? #PlantTherapy #help

Fungus gnats SOS My plant (fishbone prayer) started with brown spots. When I checked the soil, I found kind of really tiny flies. Thought they might be fungus gnats. I started with potassium soap treatment, but it's been a couple of weeks and my plant doesn't seem better. It started growing some new leaves but they don't stop turning brown and I still can see the insects. Today, I saw the flies in another plant (snake plant) even though I isolated the first one. I'm afraid others are getting the plague. Any other recommendations? Better to change the soil?

What should I do? #FishbonePrayerPlant Hi! I have a fishbone prayer plant with blooms, I thought that they were new leaves at the beginning. Has anyone had any advice on what to do with them? It will die after? Should I cut them?

Browning leaves and new growth that won’t uncurl #FishbonePrayerPlant #Hydroponics I saved this plant from a local Home Depot. It came hydroponic and in the jar it’s currently in. I placed in my bathroom and changed the water hoping it would receive its needs. I even put some plant food in it. It still seems to be brown, dropped a few leaves, and new growth won’t uncurl. Wondering if anyone had any tips!

Hydroponic root rot? Please help. I'm worried about root rot in my hydroponic calathea, she's been doing perfectly fine but I realize she has not pushed out the leaf that's been waiting to unfurl so I went to check and give it a more closer look and as you'll see in the images, some of the leaves are Browning dying off and the roots look a little suspicious as well. #help #rootrot #hydroponics #calatheacrew

What other plant parents say

In kokedama form, I water her every 3-4 days just when the moss layer starts to dry out, give her medium indirect light from a northeast facing window, and try to keep the humidity at 50% with a humidifier. She’s thriving and putting out at least 1-2 leaves each month.
