About Emerald Ripple Peperomia
This species of Peperomia is known for its uniquely textured leaves and dark, moody coloring. The fruits of Peperomia plants are very sticky, so they can be easily picked up by animals passing by. Their fruits and seeds have traveled one of the longest distances ever recorded for a plant, over 3000 miles to an island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, all while stuck to a bird's feet 🦅. They're very closely related to the same plants that produce black pepper, and their fruits have a similar peppery taste!

How to fertilize Emerald Ripple Peperomia
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Emerald Ripple Peperomia after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Spending one on one time today with my plant babies-Ripley is an Emerald Ripple Peperomia that is growing like CRAZY! He’s always been one of my favorite plants. The leaves are so intricate and beautiful. He is very tight and crowded and I think needs to be put in a larger pot. Here’s my question-today I noticed a musty smell from either the terracotta pot or the soil. Is that something I should be concerned about? When I repot should I change out most of the soil? Thanks for the advice

can my pepperomia get better? my pepperomia plant is looking in rougher shape every day. i put some rocks on the bottom to help with drainage, in a terracotta well drainaged pot. i’m unsure of what other measures i should take that could make her healthier and flourish. i’m just hoping she’s not a lost cause. (i’ve also made previous posts about her)

my peperomia plant has been struggling since i’ve gotten her. i’ve done my best to help her heal and be happy from a previous post. my pepperomia plant is still losing stems and leafs and they’re turning black i was wondering what that could be from? Also how i would help her from there.

my peperomia plant has been looking droopy since i’ve gotten her a week ago, could anyone help me identify what’s wrong and how i can help her? my peperomia plant seems to be struggling since i got her about a week to to this day. i’m really i watered her when i first planted her in a unglazed clay pot.. she started to look really droopy then. i watered her yesterday, and im not sure if she’s gotten worse or better or, even if she stayed the same at this point. i reported her to a bit smaller acrylic jar and im hoping that’ll help her some. this was the first day i got her compared to today. (slight note i do keep her on my screened in porch she gets 121• South east sun )

Noticing a not so pleasant scent coming from what I believe is my peperomia in the last 3 days. It has been flowering for a while now and I only just began smelling the smell. Any ideas on why or what I should do to address this? #Peperomia

I got this plant about 6 months ago and it immediately started to die when I brought it home. It’s been stable like this for at least 2-3 months now and won’t get any better or worse no matter what I change. I made sure the pot has good drainage, I water it only when the soil feels super dry, and it gets partial sunlight along with 2-3 hours under a grow light per day. I have other plants near it that are doing well, so I have to assume it’s a plant specific issue. I also bought a humidifier for it and run that almost all the time, but it hasn’t seemed to help. Any advice is much appreciated!! #Peperomia
