About Emerald Ripple Peperomia

This species of Peperomia is known for its uniquely textured leaves and dark, moody coloring. The fruits of Peperomia plants are very sticky, so they can be easily picked up by animals passing by. Their fruits and seeds have traveled one of the longest distances ever recorded for a plant, over 3000 miles to an island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, all while stuck to a bird's feet 🦅. They're very closely related to the same plants that produce black pepper, and their fruits have a similar peppery taste!

It’s so fun to watch these beautiful plants start to create their inflorescences and bloom for you! They’re fairly easy to grow as long as you monitor their moisture levels and don’t give them too intense of light. Super giving plant!

I loved the way this plant looked but sadly nothing I did seemed to help him. He wilted and died pretty quickly.

He hated me. I hated him. We consciously uncoupled. No matter how much love I gave this little guy, it wasn’t enough. Least favorite pep.

This plant is fine. It’s very easy to take care of. I’ve moved it around to several areas in my home with varying levels of light and humidity, and it’s just continued vibing.

This guy is super cute and started off strong, but after doing the same thing for a couple months, he’s slowly been wilting and dying. I think this type of plant would do best in a window that gets a super lot of light, and I just don’t have that in my house.

Love the leaves. It’s been kind of tough to find the right spot, but it lets you know when it needs something without just dying overnight so that’s nice

So Pretty! Hasn’t browned one leaf since I have had it. I don’t have it in direct sunlight (it’s in the middle of my dining table in a fish bowl). And it looks fake, I promise it’s real but it looks like plastic! Love it
