New plant mom! I got this succulent a few weeks ago (they said it is a Echeveria gibbiflora). Since then, he has lost several lower leaves (some squishy, others dried and shrunk into small crusts) and lost all of his pretty colors. I was trying to put him into indirect sunlight but since reading some Iāve put him in my direct sunlight window (6+ hours) He still doesnāt look like he is doing well. Iām not sure if itās too much light, too much water (bottom watered about a week ago), or what Iām doing wrong! #help

Where on the stem should I prune this? And do I wait til spring? #Echeveria

R.i.p my #echeveriaplantšš (cause of death: overwatering) Im still a beginner at being a plant mom but losing just a plant really got me thinking if I got a "green thumb" or not. Or maybe I have to kick it in and keep trying during the summer!š And so Im just gonna take a break from purchasing any plant. Even though i have the urge to buy another one lol. I mean i dont think there's any plant to withstand this cold but I will do any good #plantmom would do and do more research and do betterā¤ļø R.i.p Sir Plancelot! You shall be remembered.

Is my lipstick echeveria beyond saving? Iāve recently moved out of my parentsā house and initially Iāve left my plants at home while we get settled and I need to repot a few plants, which I couldnāt do in the new place. So I asked my mum to look after my plants, and she has a few of her own so sheās not a complete novice. However, life has been a bit hectic and when I came home for Christmas she admitted sheād lost track and couldnāt remember when she last watered all the plants, including mine. Most of them seem okay, but a few are looking pretty sad. One of the worst is my lipstick echeveria: the bottom leaves (is that even the right term?) were brown and mushy, and some were mouldy, so I pulled them off. The stalk has what looks like mould on it and I can see a few small silver bugs crawling on it. Since pulling off the leaves, the remaining lower ones are slowly going soft and brown as well. Is there any way to save this or is the plant destined to die? Can I take a cutting from the top and propagate a new plant? #LipstickEcheveria
