About Dwarf Monstera Deliciosa
Monstera deliciosa is a species of flowering plant native to the tropical rainforests of southern Mexico down to Colombia. Both the root and leaf have a long history of use in traditional medicine. In Mexico, a leaf or root infusion is taken daily to relieve arthritis. In Martinique, the root is used in remedies for snakebites. 🤒 The holes in Monstera leaves let water drip close to the roots, and they absorb the scattered beams of sunlight that make it down through the forest canopy. Their fruit also tastes like a mix of pineapple and banana! 🍍🍌

How to fertilize Dwarf Monstera Deliciosa

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Dwarf Monstera Deliciosa after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Any idea why all of my monstera leaves are solid with no splits? I bought this dude from a friend of mine who sells her propagations so I know he's pretty young, is that why none of the leaves have split or is it a sunlight issue? I have him in an East facing window less than 6 inches away with no direct sunlight. I was told it was a regular monstera deliciosa but it kind of looks like a dwarf? Totally confused here. 🥴 #Monstera #greggang #gregfeedback #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #newgrowth

Help! Curling leaves 🍃 😢 My baby monstera has been so sad and I don't know how to fix it! At first, I thought it was over watering after I had been out of town for a couple of days, let it dry out, and gave some additional light with my grow light. Then my dog knocked him over the other day 😒. Should I try to repot? I'm so sad, please help this newb plant mom! @Hypsie, @plantmompy any wise words of wisdom? You were very helpful before. #monstera #monsteramob

I bought this plant and realised there was no drainage so am planning on repotting it into a big pot with drainage. Was wondering if the no drainage was causing my leaves to brown and go a weird texture or something else?! #Monstera

Should I prune this damaged leaf? My monstera has had this damaged leaf since I purchased it about 3 months ago. It looks like something had been eating it? The hole has not changed in size and there is no major discoloration since I brought it home and placed him under my grow lights. I am fairly new to monsteras and have heard through some blogs and videos that as the plant pushes out new leaves with fenestrations, it can be good to prune older leaves if the plant needs it. (This guy just unfurled his first fenestrated leaf over the weekend!) Would you guys recommend pruning the damaged leaf? #Monstera #advice

Monstera Albo Help Hello everyone! I need some help with this. 2 weeks ago I asked what I should do about this monster albo as it has not been perking up. It’s a rescue and it looked exactly like the pics. After some advice from that previous post I decided it may be best to change the soil. Today I finally got around to doing it, but these are what the roots look like. They are not mushy at all. Are these rotted? #help #Monstera #MonsteraAlbo #PlantsMakePeopleHappy
