Finding light for China Rose in your home
China Rose love being close to bright, sunny windows 😎.
Place it less than 1ft from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
China Rose does not tolerate low-light 🚫.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of China Rose in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize China Rose
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your China Rose after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Not flowering Inherited two of these rose plants but it’s been so hot and dry outside that they’re not flowering. Any tips?

Hey guys! I just got a new china rose named Zoey. It’s my first china rose so I don’t know what to do with the watering schedule. If someone could help me,that would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been trying to save this poor guy for about a week now, they were on sale at work and I bought one for my mom and myself and then they were in my house for about a week and they started to droop, I rushed hers over to her because she’s got a much greener thumb than I but we’re both still having no luck reviving the little things. I’ve tried pruning, green tea bags, changing locations, tomorrow I’m going to attempt to repot and add vermiculite to the soil because it seems to be retaining moisture really badly. Hopefully no root rot but I suspect that’s what’s going on here #

What am I doing wrong? #ChinaRose I got this plant as a gift from my girlfriend, who thought it was an easy one to take care of. Turns out, it’s extremely difficult and needy. Lol I’ve been trying my best to figure out where I’m getting it wrong. It’s by a south facing window and it does bloom a flower every now and then. But the leaves are always yellowing and sometimes the flower blooms already with brown edges. It’s on a glazed clay pot with no drainage, and I water it almost daily (it’s summer here). I’m very inexperienced with plants and just trying my best. Thank you so much.

China Rose My China rosebush from Trader Joe’s, was off to a great start for a few weeks. I think the heat wave really did the damage. Any suggestions on bringing my poor Stella back to life?

I got my first #Maranta #PrayerPlant at the grocery store a couple weeks ago, and she’s already twice the size! I was a little bit nervous because I’ve heard they’re persnickety, but she’s been a dream so far! Last night while grocery shopping, they had #PolkaDotBegonia! I couldn’t pass it up; it was a wishlist plant and cheap! Letting her acclimate to her new home. And just wanted to share some updated pics of some of my orange flowers outside! Princess Peach’s bloom opened and it’s gawgeous, my calendula is steadily blooming and I think she’s more than ready to be planted in the flower bed, and the wallflowers are wallflowering 🧡🧡🧡 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #OutdoorGrowing #OutsidePlants #Begonia #BegoniaBunch #PlantTherapy #babevila

What other plant parents say
I simply love her the minute I saw her. I love roses and always wanted to grow them. I found it at Safeway and it was the only one. I couldn’t put it down cuz I felt bad that it was all alone and most likely be thrown out or die in a home with no love. So I bought it!!! It’s a perfect Mother’s Day gift to my mom....and to me. Cuz I’ll be raising it haha
