About Bamboo Palm

One of the most popular of the houseplant palms, the bamboo palm is an excellent choice for adding a tropical flair to your space. The plant gets its name from its growth pattern which is very similar to that of bamboo. In their native habitat of Central America they can grow up to twelve feet, though houseplants tend to be smaller and reach around six feet in height. 🌴

The bamboo palm was my first plant. While she has decreased in leaves and size (I had to trim off lots of sun & water damage) she continues to put out a new leaf every now and again. I am learning her love language and hope I can save her.

I had a problem with browning at first but a little more soil management and a self watering pit have helped this beauty stay lush!
