Can she be saved Can anyone tell me what's wrong with her. Will she survive? Nothing was wrong with her except it was still moist. I mixed the old dirt with some new dirt because it was still wet and some of the roots rotted. The next day it's been going downhill ever since. I had to relocate her as well because one of my plants have Thrips. Luckily not her. She is not in the location you see in photos #help #alocasia #silverdragon #rootrot #repotting #plantmom #plantsmakepeoplehappy

Help! What could be the issue here! I got this beautiful baby from Greg's shop. When she arrived there were 2 small areas I thought were from shipping. One was a slit with what looked like it had something shiny all around it and the other was a gray wrinkly spot. The plant has gotten progressively worse over the last 2 weeks. I did treat with neem today and plan a repot tomorrow. For sure some leaves are dying. They are all yellow on the edges. Any info you can give me in taking care of him will help. Thanks in advance. #happyplants #plantaddict #plantsmakepeoplehappy #alocasiaaddicts #silverdragonscale #jodisplace

Help! Repotted, but leaves are dropping!! I bought my Alocasia in a deli type cup, with a lid, it was doing great in there with Moss and perlite at the bottom. It was growing really well, and the leaves were starting to touch the edges. I decided it was time to repot. It is in a glass cloche, with an Orchid chunky mix soil (coconut husks, pine bark, chunky perlite) with some charcoal for gardening mixed in. However, my Alocasia has lost all of its leaves as of today, except the newest growth. I donāt water it very often, because it is in a cloche, but I do sprits the top of it every couple days. There is moisture at the bottom soil, but it is not pooling! When I water, I spray the top of the cloche. I have removed the dead leaves, but I have not checked the roots quite yet. Iām so scared that this poor plant is going to die on me Any recommendations??

Time to repot? My Chinese taro has a little green root popping up out the soil and her roots are coming out the botton of her nursery pot. She was giving me a new leaf every couple of weeks, but Iāve now lost as many leaves as sheās given me! They keep going droopy, going a bit curly on the end and crispy at the bottom of the stem. I donāt want to keep her squished in there if sheās not happy! #PlantAddict #ChineseTaro #NewPlantMom

I just bought this from Lowes today. Some of the leaves are yellowed. Soil is very wet. What do you all recommend? Or is this normal? This is my first alocasia! #PlantTherapy #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewPlantMom

This morning I noticed white film and tiny webbing on my #alocasia I sprayed him down with neem oil on both the soil and leaf. Is there anything else I can do to get rid of spidermites?
