How do I do it right ?

After the stress of transplanting and the subsequent droop, this fussy plant is finally putting out a new leaf. Victory! 5 leaves and two corm sprouts on this one now!

Spider mites?

The plant front has been pretty quiet for me lately as they’re all getting ready to wake up for spring (and I’ve been treating for spider mites 😑). But as per usual for me I rotted another (yes, another) alocasia, this time my lovely frydek. Since rehabbing it in perlite and then transferring to semi-hydro its first new leaf is even nicer than all the ones before! I’m very happy I didn’t completely murder it since it was such a tiny plant to rehab 😊 I’ve been trying to grow them in soil as I don’t like being beaten by something but I think I might just have to accept I grow them better in pon.
